John W. Bassett, D.D.S.
John Bassett was born and raised in northern New Jersey, and graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut in 1960. He received his dental education at the University of Michigan, graduating in 1964. He then spent one year of internship and two years of active duty in the U.S. Public Health Service, during which time his sons, Jeff and Eric, were born. He moved to the Denver area in 1967 and has been engaged in the private practice of dentistry ever since. Dr. Bassett has been active in organized dentistry at the local, state, and national levels, and has presented courses on occlusion to dentists in England, Canada, Australia, and America since 1978. In 2003, he was honored to be listed in the inaugural edition of the book The Best Dentists in America. His recreational interests include skiing, canoeing, fishing, hiking, golf, and horses. Dr. Bassett is also a nationally licensed soccer coach. He lives in Franktown with his wife, Marlene, who is a psychologist in the Douglas County school system.
Gerry F. Wallace, D.D.S.
Gerry Wallace grew up in northern California and received his undergraduate education at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He attended dental school at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, graduating in 1976. His first year after graduation was spent in a General Practice Residency program at Chanute Air Force Base Hospital in Illinois. This was followed by a three year tour of duty in England. Upon returning to this country, he was assigned to Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs in 1980. He entered private practice with Dr. Bassett in 1981. Dr. Wallace has been involved in organized dentistry and continuing dental education since his graduation. Early in 2003, he was appointed to the State Board of Dental Examiners by Governor Owens. His recreational interests include skiing, water sports, travel, antiques, and restoration of classic and high performance automobiles. He currently resides in Denver with his wife Donna.
Daniel J. Selner, D.D.S.
Dan Selner has deep roots in the Denver area, having been raised here and graduating from Regis Jesuit High School in 1981. His next eight years were spent at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where Dan earned his B.S. degree in 1985 and his dental degree in 1989. He returned to Colorado after graduation and established his own dental practice in Aurora, where he worked for seven years. In March 1997, Dan merged his practice with that of Drs. Bassett and Wallace, and became a full partner with them on January 1, 1998. Dan is actively involved in local, state, and national dental organizations. His outside interests include flyfishing, golf, hockey, basketball and family. He lives in Denver with his wife, Carol, daughters Hannah and Emma, and son Patrick.
Andrea L. Taylor, D.D.S.
Andrea Taylor was born and raised on a family farm in Hoxie, Kansas. She graduated from Hoxie High School in 1995. Her next nine years were spent at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where Andrea earned her B.A. degree in 1999 and her dental degree in 2004. Immediately upon graduation, she established her own family practice in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Taylor practiced as an associate in downtown Denver for three years, while completing a post-doctoral certificate in dental implants from the Medical College of Georgia. Andrea joined Drs. Bassett, Wallace and Selner in August 2008. She is actively involved in local, state, and national dental organizations. Her recreational interests include skiing, travel, kickboxing, and family. She currently resides in Denver with her husband, Brock, and sons William and Luke.
